Update 25.2 Brings Even More Security
Connect to SMB 3.1.1 with SMB Hardening, Google Cloud S3 Connections and Italian Language Support
Version 25.2 is now available for FileBrowserGO and FileBrowser Professional with lots of new updates and improvements.
We have also added SMB 3.1.1 support as this is the most secure way to connect to your computers or servers. Existing connections will now use SMB 3.1.1 unless you manually set a specific version of SMB.* We also added support for SMB hardening (level 2) which is not currently available in the iOS Files app.
You can now add your Google Cloud Storage S3 accounts to FIleBrowserGO and FileBrowser Professional. This feature also supports multiple accounts.
FileBrowser has already been professionally translated into several languages. The latest update 25.2 now adds Italian to the list making this the eighth language.
Advanced search has also been improved; you can now search by XMP ratings for images and videos. Combine this with our other advanced search parameters to create powerful searches that you can save and re-use.
If you use FIleBrowser to read ePub files, this new update adds customizable line and paragraph options. You can also use the ePub table of contents to jump to specific chapters. Add multiple bookmarks when viewing ePub files to return to a page with a single tap.

* To ensure you are using SMB 3, edit your connection, open Advanced Settings and change the SMB Version to 3.
