All our Apps feature family sharing. With Family Sharing up to six family members can install this app or share a subscription.
Unlike other file manager apps available on the App Store we do not collect or sell any of your data. With iOS14 the App Store now shows you what information apps collect about you. FileBrowser does not collect any information at all. Please be cautious when downloading apps - a free app may cost you a lot more in lost privacy.
If you bought FileBrowser and feel you need the additional features, simply use the AppStore's 'Complete my Bundle' to add 'FileBrowser Professional' by only paying the difference.
I consider myself a pro user. So naturally, I found the native Files app extremely underwhelming. FileBrowser Pro does everything a pro user could expect plus more.
This is what Apple's totally crappy rudimentary Files app should have been in iPadOS. Excellent application, does mostly anything one would want. Well worth the price and I am happy. Thanks to the developer, please keep it up.
I have been using it on the iPad for years and it really works great. It connects to every kind of local and cloud storage you can imagine at the same time. No need for jiggling with many different cloud apps. Makes working with or backups of important files real easy. It's so much better than the crappy Apple files app.
Works perfectly to replace the crappy and buggy Files app. Everything is clear, consistent and reliable. Folder size info, smb connection, folder shortcut on desktop, better internal media player, file transfer progress dialog, etc.
I've been a FileBrowser user for years, it just gets better and better. Have used it to connect to Macs, PCs, NAS, USB hubs, etc, etc and it's never failed me. I wanted decent USB drive for file backup so got an iXpand to use so needed to upgrade to the Business version. As usual, everything works just fine, just need to plug in the drive (which is not powered) and it appears on the FileBrowser home page. Probably should have upgraded earlier actually. Perfect!
I find the Files app on iPad to be lacking in so many ways. A progress status for instance when transferring files. Also, I have recently been backing up video files on an external hard drive and, nearly every time, a number of them are corrupted. I was almost giving up on the iPad until I tried FileBrowser Professional. Someone on Reddit recommended it and I'm glad I gave it a try. All of the files I have transferred using this app have done so without error and it's great to be able to have confidence that I can backup my valuable files. Highly recommended.
