FileBrowser is Showing Hidden and System files from Windows Vista

If FileBrowser is displaying files and folders that you do not normally see in Windows Vista, it is likely because hidden and system files are currently enabled in FileBrowser.

These files still exist on your Windows PC, but Windows Explorer usually hides them by default to reduce clutter and protect system data.

This guide shows how to hide them in FileBrowser.

  1. Tap the 'Menu' button.
  2. Tap the 'Config' tab at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down to the 'File Browsing Preferences' section.
  4. Switch off 'Show Hidden Files'.
  5. Switch off 'Show System Files'.
