How to use SMB connection strings on Windows 7
If you are connecting to a Windows 7 PC or network share from another device, you may need to use an SMB connection string to correctly identify the location of shared folders on your network.
The following examples show how to convert various connection strings for use by FileBrowser.
Example 1
A UNC path used with Windows Explorer, such as
\\server\share\folder1\folder2
Example 2
A URL used with Mac Finder, such as
smb://server/share/folder1/folder2
