Create and Manage Cloud Shares in Enterprise Files

Easily share folders via cloud services in Enterprise Files. Learn how to set permissions, create links, and collaborate using Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box.


Create a File / Folder Link

Create a UNC path link or a FileBrowser URL which can be used to launch Enterprise Files in iOS.

  • Tap a file or folders context menu and select "Create a File Link".
  • Then select "Copy Enterprise Files URL".

This link is now on your iOS clipboard and can be pasted into an email or a document.

Google Drive Shares

Google Drive Shares

When viewing Google Drive folders in Enterprise Files you can share files or folders like you would on Google Drive.

Tap the file or folder context menu and select "Sharing Properties", from here you can add users or manage existing users viewing permissions.

Share Box Folders

Share Box Folders

When browsing your Box storage, tap the folder or files actions menu and select "Create a Folder Link", then "Share and copy Box URL" and then select one of the following options:

  • Share with Team - Share the folder with authorised users.
  • Share with Everyone - Share the folder with anyone who has the link.

Note: You can ONLY add or edit the users to the folder, once you have shared the folder "Share with Teams". Once the folder is shared an extra option appears on shared folders action menu, "Shared Link Properties".

Share DropBox Folders

When browsing your DropBox storage, tap the folder or files actions menu and select "Create a Folder Link", then "Share and copy DropBox URL" and then select one of the following options:

  • Share with Team - Share the folder with authorised users.
  • Share with Everyone - Share the folder with anyone who has the link.
